Are "They" Warning Us?!?!?

These signs have been popping up all over NYC. Never really paid any attention to them. With all the "sudden undetected" Natural disaster that have been occurring, earthquake in Haiti and the Tsunami in Japan. Is there something we don't know about that could potentially hit New York state? The ad questions "Ready For a Disaster?" One of the students where I work drew this picture of Toy Story's Buzz Light Year & Woody. The child has Autism. I probably wouldn't have been able to do half as good. This was drawn without an visual of the characters from the movie. Talk about GREAT memory of details!

Bobbie Kristina (Whitney Houston & Bobby Brown's daughter alledgedly caught sniffing cocaine!!!

Allegedly Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston's daughter had a photograph of her taken while sniffing cocaine (now I know everyone is screaming "well the apple doesn't fall far from the tree huh?") There are pictures of her are published in the March issue of the National Inquirer.

A couple weeks back there were photos leaked of her smoking, drinking 4Loko aka Death in a can, and kissing a girl . The tabloids are loving it "She is ONLY 17" Every is saying she headed to a path of destruction. My question is the only difference between her and teen from my neighborhood is that she is rich and famous. This is all too common amongst teens. I am not SHOCKED at all. Maybe a little appalled because I never want to see the youth tumbling down hill they are our future. But this is nothing new, nothing that we are not immune to already. Its sad in our culture children are not socially accepted by their peers if they do not drink and smoke... they are considered "Corny" or uncool. We need to educate and talk to our children and inform them that this is not normal. They are destroying their bodies.

Mc Lobster... Really Though?

All social media site were buzzing about Mc Donald's latest  addition to the menu. The McLobster with 100% Atlantic Lobster meat. Now I haven't ate Mc donalds in over a year and this isn't making me any eager to jump back on the bandwagon.
