Autistic Art! (Autism Awareness)

One of the students where I work drew this picture of Toy Story's Buzz Light Year & Woody. The child has Autism. I probably wouldn't have been able to do half as good. This was drawn without an visual of the characters from the movie. Talk about GREAT memory of details!

Valentine's Day Candy Bags

Today our student made Valentine's Day "Candy Bags" a very inexpensive arts & craft activity you can do at home with your children. Just get a small paper bag, cut construction paper into body parts of the "bear", glue & paste, fill with candy and your done! The two bags pictured were created by children who have Autism. Peep the "broken heart" someone really wasn't into the celebration LOL
