Carrera Vintage Sunglasses Relaunch

Carrera, the eyewear company whose vintage shades have been sought after and collected, has been relaunched. The brand was re-introducted in Europe in 2007 and now the brand will be coming state-side. Four styles have been updated, come in up to 26 color options and retail for $150. The Carrera sunglasses will be sold in 95 Solstice boutiques and hit stores this Friday! It’s really exciting to see retro brands come back better than ever. It seems like they’ve stayed true to the original aesthetic. I hate when brands we love try to reinvent their look and alienate loyal fans. The ad campaign is weak but thankfully, the glasses are strong enough to hold their own. Check out more styles and an ad after the jump .

Kourtney K. Talks About the Decision to Have Baby

Kourtney Kardashian is expecting her first child with on-again, off-again boyfriend Scott Disick, and tells PEOPLE how she made the decision to keep the baby.

"I definitely thought about it long and hard, about if I wanted to keep the baby or not, and I wasn't thinking about adoption," she said.

"I do think every woman should have the right to do what they want, but I don't think it's talked through enough. I can't even tell you how many people just say, 'Oh, get an abortion.' Like it's not a big deal," she added.

Disick, for his part, has been supportive. The couple split after two years of dating last November, but got back together shortly after Kourtney found out she was pregnant.

"He wanted me to talk about it more, but I just kept to myself. He said, 'I really want you to keep it, but I will support you whatever you decide to do,'" she described of Scott's input.

Then the reality star turned to her friends for advice.

"I called my best friend crying, and I was like, 'I don't know what to do.' She said, 'Call your doctor, and at least find out the risks and stuff.'"

Then she took her search for answers to the Internet. "I looked online, and I was sitting on the bed hysterically crying, reading these stories of people who felt so guilty from having an abortion. I was reading these things of how many people are traumatized by it afterwards."

By then, her decision was made. "I was just sitting there crying, thinking, 'I can't do that.' And I felt in my body, this is meant to be. God does things for a reason, and I just felt like it was the right thing that was happening in my life."

"For me, all the reasons why I wouldn't keep the baby were so selfish: It wasn't like I was raped, it's not like I'm 16. I'm 30 years old, I make my own money, I support myself, I can afford to have a baby. And I am with someone who I love, and have been with for a long time."

The Liars in Our Lives

On average, people tell three lies every 10 minutes -- from "I was just about to call you" and “You've lost weight!" to “Your secret is safe with me" and “I love you, too." Think this claim is a bit of an exaggeration? University of Massachusetts psychology professor Robert Feldman, Ph.D., has spent the last 25 years proving it. In his book entitled "The Liar in Your Life: The Way to Truthful Relationships," Feldman presents evidence on why we lie, just how often we stretch the truth and the costs and benefits that come with such fibbing -- whether it's the so-called “little white lie," a Madoff-style whopper or something in between. "The most surprising finding of my research is how ubiquitous lying is," says Feldman. “It occurs at a rate far greater than I ever expected to find. In fact, lying is so frequent that we don't even register that it's happening."

Lying also begins early: Feldman says that we learn to weave these tangled webs during toddlerhood, at around age two or three. The older children get, the more sophisticated their lies become. In a sense, they're training for survival in the adult world, since Feldman's research shows that popular, socially successful people tend to be good liars. Yet even with the social advantages that come with fudging, Feldman contends that all lies exact a toll -- on both the person who delivers the fiction and the one who is duped by it.

AOL Health: Why do we lie?

Robert Feldman, Ph.D.: We lie because it works. And it works because other people want to hear lies about themselves -- that they're looking good or that we agree with them. In some cases, we lie because it gives us an advantage over others -- we lie to convince people of what we want them to believe. There are a lot of reasons, but the bottom line is that lying is a social tactic that we use to get what we want.

AOL Health: Have humans evolved as liars because some lying is actually necessary for survival?

Feldman: Though we certainly learn to lie as we grow up, lying also has evolutionary roots. You can look throughout the non-human animal kingdom and see that animals lie in simple ways, like through camouflage. They also lie in more intricate ways: A firefly emits a signal to attract fireflies and other species, and the one that's attracted is eaten in the end. Animals with more sophisticated cognitive levels, like chimps and apes, use all sorts of deception. It's an effective means for survival.

AOL Health: If lying gives us a social advantage, what's so great about telling the truth all the time?

Feldman: Apart from the moral question, lying as a tactic often backfires. If a relationship begins with a lie -- and my research has shown that people lie, on average, three times within the first 10 minutes of getting to know each other -- the connection is built on falsehood. From there, the lies can snowball, leading to larger and larger lies. Dishonesty leads to a kind of inauthenticity -- and I think most of us want more authentic relationships. We want to be honest with others, and we want to know where we stand with them. If we're constantly being lied to, we have a false impression of what the relationship is all about. And in some ways, we never really understand who we are as people, because we get social feedback from others about what our capabilities are -- "You're doing a great job!" It's not necessarily true, so we can never really assess ourselves accurately.

AOL Health: What kinds of lies do we most commonly tell?

Feldman: When we lie to other people, we're usually trying to make them feel good about themselves -- "I agree with you" or "That's a wonderful new tie." We also lie to make the conversation go more smoothly. So when someone mentions a restaurant or a book, you say, “Yes, I've been there" or “I've read that." Or you say you liked a movie when you really didn't. Then there are the self-oriented lies. To make ourselves look better and to puff ourselves up, we claim “I've traveled to Europe" or “I was in the National Honor Society in high school." Most of us think that we're above average, and we lie to reinforce our belief that we really are smarter, more capable, a better driver, you name it. This inflated view of ourselves is basically what allows us to get through the day. It's a mechanism we use to enhance and protect our self-image.

They ain't never LIE, I'll tell you. Life is about choices and Consequences whether or not the choices you make deliver consequences that are positive or negative. The decision is solely yours. If given the opportunity to redeem yourself by opting to tell the TRUTH, you should do so. Regardless if the person will feel hurt, betrayed, and all of the above. Trust they will be far more upset with you if they found out the TRUTH from someone else. Especially when there is flawless evidence.

Small but Packs a Punch... My Style (Swiss Mini Gun)

Meet the pistol that fits in your pocket - and packs a hell of a punch.
The SwissMiniGun is the size of a key fob but fires tiny 270mph bullets powerful enough to kill at close range.

Officially the world's smallest working revolver, the gun is being marketed as a collector's item and measures just 2.16 inches long (5.5cm). It can fire real 4.53 bullets up to a range of 367ft (112m).

The stainless steel gun costs £3,000 although the manufacturers also produce extravagant, made-to-order versions made out of 18-carat gold with customised diamond studs which sell for up to £30,000.

Can Some One PLEASE Define FREESTYLE

Everyone and their mother's were losing their minds over this Drake "Freestyle" on Hot 97's Funkmaster Flex show. Can some define FREESTYLE? Freestyle Rap: commonly refers to rap lyrics which are improvised, i.e. performed with few or no previously composed lyrics, off the top of the head. Well I guess with it being 2009 and everything is what people consider "high tech" we "freestyle" off the top of our Blackberries... SMFH!!! "You Serious Drizzy?" I was considering myself a some what fan of Drake's. I was feeling the mixtape it was good car music. That was until I saw this video and I was in awe for words. NOT ONLY was Drake NOT FREESTYLING. (YES he was reading off his Blackberry) He couldn't even catch the beat. Your rhymes are premeditated and you still fuck up.

WATCH THIS VIDEO FIRST!!!

THEN WATCH THE AFFION CROCKETT SPOOF

Now for those who LOVE hiphop and know what a REAL FREESTYLE is. Take a look at this video it is an Alist radio interview w/ guest JUNE who is a Bronx native. JUNE being well known for being able to flow of the top of his head at the drop of a pin.

For more footage of JUNE freestyle check out Dcole74 on youtube.

A Damn Shame

Now... this makes no sense to me. I want to ask where were these little girls parents, but they were probably the ones holding the camera. Who condoned this?!?!? There is NO audio playing so I'm not sure what song this little girl is dancing to who clearly appears to be under the age 10. Is this a stripper school for toddlers? LOOK at the little boy holding the camera taking pictures all excited. All they had to do was make it rain on her for it to "OFFICIAL" Everyone one there really let this CHILD "P- POP" on a hand stand SMDH!!! Now me being a mother of two girls myself... find myself in awe for words.
