A man trying to smuggle turtles into the country illegally was caught when he put them in a box marked “scorpions,” according to Reuters.The scorpions label prompted a border agent to check the contents of the box since certain species are also illegal to bring over the border. You would think someone who’s about to break the law would at least take the time to know what law they are breaking.
What’s worse is the suspect was a former U.S. Border Patrol agent, someone who is professionally trained
