Floating on Cloud 9 Drink Recipe

This is a simple blended strawberry cocktail with a creamier side than most. It is also another example of how you can use one of the new dessert-flavored vodkas, namely Pinnacle Whipped.

Whipped cream and strawberries are a flavor combination sent from the divine and is guaranteed to satiate any sweet tooth. What I also like about this drink is the combination of dairy and ice in a blender because it creates a silky texture to back up the cocktail's sweet flavor.

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 5 minutes

Yield: 1 Cocktail

Ingredients:

• 2 parts Pinnacle® Whipped® Vodka
• 1 part DeKuyper Wild Strawberry Liqueur
• 2 parts half & half
• 1 cup ice
• Crushed strawberry candy for garnish

Preparation:

1. Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
2. Pour into a martini glass.
3. Garnish rim with crushed strawberry candy.

This is a quick and easy recipe that can be made at home when entertaining guest. It is what I like to call a "cute" drink. Just double up on ingredients to save time in oppose to making one glass at a time.

Why is it that once people end a friendship/association they want to ensure everyone knows every bit of negative information about the person they are no longer cool with? Or they become "friends" with people who they allegedly couldn't stand to build some sort of "fake" alliance because they are too weak to stand alone. I NEVER understood how people become "besties"with people their old friends never fucked with. You look beyond disloyal and pathethic.

Thinking about an old conversation I had with someone who brought up someone I was no longer cool with. 

The conversation starts... "I don't like your "friend" " now I can clearly smell the sarcasm in her tone and knowing that I don't have many friends it would be easy to narrow this down to associates. 

I see she wants me to pry and ask a million questions and I ask what "friend"? Her reply is Tita... Now I am thinking to myself where is this going and why is Tita the topic. She goes on to tell me what ever bogus gossip reason she has. At that point I'm cutting her off. I'm like look I can't tell you what this girl has been up too because I haven't spoke to her in over a year but what I can tell you is that we are not going to do is sit here and talk shit about her.

I go on to tell her based on our friendship I don't know her to be a female who is into gossip and talking about anyone for no reason at all. I'm questioning her "resources" letting her know they are probably just being spoons trying to stir up bullshit. Now it seems like she is getting defensive "oh you acting like you still rock with her" No I'm just telling you like it is...
 She was one of my closet friends. She was there for me at times when my relatives wasn't and you know that. And granted I no longer speak to her...  she is someone I valued in my life. If I was out somewhere and saw she had an issue I would hold her down with no questions asked. 

I guess my reply wasn't what she was looking for. You could tell she thought I would be like "oh fuck that bitch", fuck her up when you see her, or put her business out there or who else know what. In my head I'm laughing like this bitch is really upset because I didn't jump on her hate bandwagon. My old friend isn't an enemy of mines. We spoke as adults and went separate ways. No love lost! As it should be. Love is ALWAYS Love!

If you choose to cut ties with someone. Cut all ties! When someone brings up their name politely say "I haven't seen them in a while or we grew apart."
 Anyone who has to bash another person constantly after they are no longer acquainted looks very miserable, bitter and desperate for attention. If you are airing someone's dirty laundry you NEVER deserved to be their friend from the start regardless of how he friendship ended. Take the high road. 

If you feel the need to state why your friendship has deceased ok that's fine BUT remember to KEEP IT CUTE! No need to trash another's name.
Why look for an army support of FRIENEMIES?

My Natural Hair...

So inquiring minds have been asking why do I wear weaves... And expensive hair weaves at that?

I love them... POINT BLANK PERIOD!!!

No I do not need a weave, hair extension, tracks or any other nick name you might have for them. But I do love the variety of styles I can achieve while wearing them. I can go from short long black or dark brown in a minute.

Here is a picture I posted on my Instagram page you can see my natural (Unrelaxed hair) meaning no creamy crack perms etc lol it was wet and curly after I washed it at home. The other picture on the left is after I went to the salon and got a wash and roller set with a blow out.

I will leave my natural hair out for a few but the extension will be back! I love them too much

When Keeping it Real Goes Wrong: Girl Bully gets Beat!

I was checking out the daily ratchedness on www.worlstarhiphop.com and came across this video of... "When Keep it Real Goes Wrong" (In my opinion of course)

A group of teenage girls get together and go to the front door of another teenage girl (Who happens to be by herself) hoping what I assumed they thought was going to end in their friend whooping her ass. Boy were they wrong.

I love how the young girl not only beats the hell of the bully she calmly walks back into her home and closes the door. The bully ended up looking like Martin Lawrence in that famous boxing episode.

Amber Rose & Wiz Khalifa are Having a BABY!!!

I might have been the ONLY person who didn't get to watch the VMA award show last night but on a brighter note Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa announced they are expecting a child.

"We had to do it with you first, and we had to do it with the whole world, and just let everybody know that we're expecting a beautiful young baby," Khalifa announced on the carpet. "We're having a baby!" The couple put emphasis on the announcement by both touching the baby bump--she making a point of cradling her tummy, while he placed a protective hand over it for eager photographers.

Side note: am I the only person who isn't fond of Amber growing her hair? I personally loved her caesar. 

I know she is probably sick of the trend she started it seems like every female and their mama has been sporting the infamous "bald" look.
